1. Who We Are
AIGentor is a public AI character chat website that lets users browse characters, chat without creating an account, and submit new public characters. If you have privacy questions, data requests, or policy concerns, contact us at [email protected].
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in a few different categories:
- Information you submit directly, such as chat messages, character names, descriptions, avatar prompts, opening messages, moderation-related form content, and other text you choose to enter.
- Technical and usage information, such as IP address, approximate device and browser data, request timing, rate-limit signals, abuse-prevention signals, recent activity, and non-account session identifiers used to keep the service stable.
- Public character information, such as a character's name, description, category, generated avatar URL, starter content, moderation status, chat counts, like counts, and related metadata.
- Analytics and advertising data that may be collected by third-party providers such as measurement, ad delivery, fraud prevention, and consent tools.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to operate and improve the service, including to:
- deliver chat responses and character creation features;
- generate avatars, openers, and other AI-assisted outputs;
- moderate unsafe, abusive, infringing, or ad-unsafe content;
- measure usage, performance, quality, and feature reliability;
- prevent spam, fraud, scraping, abuse, and excessive API usage;
- support advertising, monetization, and policy compliance;
- review reports, legal notices, and support requests.
4. Anonymous Use and Session Data
AIGentor is designed for low-friction use without mandatory account creation. Even without accounts, we may still use cookies, local storage, session identifiers, or server-side identifiers to remember recent characters, apply rate limits, reduce abuse, and improve reliability. These identifiers may be linked to technical usage data, but they are not intended to function as a traditional user profile.
5. Character Creation and Public Content
If you create a character, that submission is intended to be public by default. Public characters and related metadata may appear on listing pages, character pages, internal recommendation systems, sitemaps, cached pages, analytics systems, and moderation tools. Please do not submit private, confidential, or sensitive personal information in public character content.
6. AI Processing and Moderation
Character creation, avatar generation, message handling, and safety review may involve automated processing by AI systems and safety pipelines. This may include local wordlists, heuristic filters, moderation logic, and third-party AI providers used to classify or generate content. We use this processing to keep the platform safer, maintain ad partner compliance, reduce policy risk, and improve service quality.
7. Advertising, Cookies, and Similar Technologies
We may use advertising and monetization partners, including Google AdSense, AdX, or similar providers. These partners may use cookies, local storage, pixels, device identifiers, and related technologies to measure ad delivery, limit fraud, and personalize or contextualize advertising where permitted. We may also use analytics and security tools that rely on similar technologies.
Browser controls, ad settings, and privacy tools provided by your browser or platform may let you limit some forms of tracking or personalization. Because our stack may change over time, the exact providers used on the site may change without separate notice, but this policy continues to apply to that processing.
8. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party infrastructure and service providers for hosting, content delivery, security, image generation, captcha or bot protection, analytics, databases, caching, AI inference, and ad delivery. These providers may process information on our behalf or as independent controllers depending on the service involved and the law that applies.
9. Data Sharing
We may share information in the following circumstances:
- with service providers that help operate the site and infrastructure;
- with advertising, analytics, security, or fraud-prevention partners;
- where content is public by design, such as public character pages and related metadata;
- to comply with law, respond to legal requests, enforce our terms, or protect users, the public, or the platform;
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale, restructuring, or other business transfer.
10. Data Retention
We keep data for as long as reasonably necessary for operation, security, moderation, analytics, product improvement, legal compliance, dispute handling, and business continuity. Different data types may be kept for different periods. Some cached, logged, or backup copies may persist for a period even after primary records are deleted or updated.
11. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to reduce misuse, unauthorized access, and abuse. No website or online system can guarantee absolute security, and you use the service at your own risk. If we become aware of a material security issue that requires notice under applicable law, we may provide notice through the site, email, or another appropriate method.
12. International Use
AIGentor may be operated using infrastructure and service providers located in multiple countries. By using the site, you understand that information may be transferred to, processed in, or stored in jurisdictions with data protection laws that differ from those in your location.
13. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability, or complaint. Those rights are not absolute and may depend on the nature of the data, whether it is public user content, legal obligations, fraud prevention, security needs, or technical feasibility. To make a request, contact [email protected].
14. Children
AIGentor is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly solicit or allow character creation or chat use that is intended for young children as a primary audience. If you believe a child provided personal information or used the service in a way that requires review, contact [email protected].
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product, legal, operational, security, or advertising changes. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
