Getting Started
What is AIGentor?
AIGentor is a public AI character chat platform focused on fast access. You can browse characters, start chatting immediately, create anonymously, or use a free creator account when you want dashboard management.
Do I need an account to chat?
No. Basic chat is designed to work without forced login. The site may still use anonymous session and browser storage signals to remember recent activity, reduce abuse, and improve performance, but it does not require a traditional user account for normal use.
Is AIGentor free?
The core experience is built around free access. The site is supported by advertising and infrastructure controls rather than a required paywall for basic character chat.
What makes AIGentor different from other character chat sites?
The product is intentionally built around lower friction, cleaner navigation, faster loading, and fewer blockers between arrival and conversation. The goal is to make character chat feel immediate instead of padded with unnecessary steps, community clutter, or forced account systems.
Chatting With Characters
Why does a character sometimes reply more slowly than usual?
Reply speed can vary based on model latency, server load, moderation checks, network conditions, and the length of the recent conversation context. We actively optimize prompt size, cache behavior, and moderation flow to keep the experience fast while still protecting the platform.
Why was my message blocked?
Messages may be blocked when they appear to contain unsafe, explicit, violent, illegal, or otherwise policy-violating content. Some checks happen locally for speed, and others may use moderation systems designed to protect users, infrastructure, and advertising compliance.
Does the site save my conversation history?
The site may temporarily store anonymous usage and conversation-related signals for functionality, moderation, abuse prevention, analytics, or product quality. It is best to treat the service as a public internet product and avoid sharing sensitive or private information.
Why do some conversations feel shorter or more concise?
The system is intentionally tuned to keep replies tighter and more natural for speed, usability, and lower token cost. That helps reduce lag, keeps the product more responsive, and avoids bloated model output.
Can I like a character?
Yes. Public characters can receive likes, and those signals may help influence discovery, ranking, or recommendation systems over time.
Creating Characters
Do I need an account to create a character?
No. Character creation still works anonymously. If you sign in before publishing, the character is also saved to your creator dashboard so you can manage it across browsers and devices.
Is every created character public?
Character submissions are intended to be public by default. That means approved characters may appear in listings, search surfaces, recommendation areas, internal data systems, moderation tools, and SEO-related structures.
Why did my character creation fail?
Creation can fail if required fields are missing, moderation does not approve the submission, the captcha or verification step is incomplete, generation services are temporarily unavailable, or the server cannot safely complete the request. The form is designed to show clearer reasons where possible.
Why was my avatar or avatar prompt rejected?
Avatar prompts and related text are reviewed for ad-safety, policy risk, and public content suitability. Explicit sexual content, graphic violence, hateful or illegal material, impersonation, copyright-heavy prompts, or other risky inputs may be blocked.
Can I upload my own avatar image?
You can upload one optional reference image to blend with AI avatar generation. The uploaded image is used as guidance for style and identity direction, while the final public avatar is newly generated by AI.
Can I edit or delete a character I created?
Characters created while signed in appear in your account dashboard with basic ownership controls such as visibility and anonymous chat access. Anonymous submissions are not automatically tied to a later account, so keep the share link if you publish without signing in.
Safety, Moderation, and Policy
What kinds of content are not allowed?
Content may be blocked or removed if it involves explicit sexual material, sexual content involving minors, graphic gore, extreme violence, illegal activity, hateful or extremist content, harassment, non-consensual scenarios, malware or attack instructions, or unsafe public character concepts.
How is moderation handled?
Moderation uses a layered system that may include local wordlists, rules, heuristics, rate limits, abuse checks, and AI-assisted review. Creation flows are handled more conservatively than normal chat because public characters create longer-term safety, legal, and advertising risk.
Does AIGentor review copyright or impersonation risks?
Yes. Public character creation is reviewed more strictly for intellectual property, impersonation, and ad-safety risk than ordinary chat messages. Franchises, celebrity likenesses, official impersonation, and other risky public character concepts may be rejected.
Can a character be removed after it goes live?
Yes. We may restrict, unpublish, reject, or delete characters later if they create legal, safety, policy, or abuse issues, or if new information changes the risk profile of the content.
Why does AIGentor care about ad-safety so much?
The platform is designed to stay sustainable through advertising-supported access. That means public pages and generated content need to stay within policies that protect users, advertisers, and the long-term viability of the product.
Privacy, Data, and Ads
Does AIGentor collect personal information?
The platform keeps collection relatively lean, but it may still process technical and usage information such as IP address, device or browser details, anonymous session signals, moderation logs, and information you actively submit through chat or creation forms.
Do you use cookies or similar technology?
Yes. The site and its partners may use cookies, local storage, similar identifiers, and related technologies for analytics, performance, advertising, recent activity memory, abuse prevention, and overall site functionality.
Why do I see ads on the site?
Ads help support a free-access model. The product is designed so advertising can fund infrastructure while the main chat experience remains available without a required subscription wall for normal use.
Can I request deletion of data or a public character page?
Depending on the request and the data involved, yes. The best path is to email [email protected] with the page URL, the specific concern, and enough detail for us to identify the relevant content or records.
Technical Questions
Why is a page not loading correctly on mobile or desktop?
UI issues can come from cached assets, browser quirks, third-party scripts, device-specific viewport behavior, or temporary deployment mismatches. A hard refresh often helps, but if the issue persists we want the device, browser, and exact page URL in your report.
Why does a page sometimes look cached after an update?
Static assets, CDN layers, and browser caches can all hold older versions briefly. We work to reduce stale-cache behavior, but some changes may still require a fresh reload before the newest version is visible.
Why are some characters easier to find than others?
Discovery can depend on quality, moderation status, category fit, freshness, recommendation logic, and real engagement signals. Not every public character is treated as a top search or indexing candidate by default.
Will every character be indexed in Google?
No. At scale, it is better to selectively index the most useful and highest-quality pages instead of trying to push every possible character into search results. That helps protect overall site quality and crawl efficiency.
Support and Contact
How do I contact AIGentor?
Use [email protected] for support, privacy requests, abuse reports, copyright concerns, takedown notices, legal questions, and general business communication.
What should I include in a support email?
Include the page URL, the character name if relevant, the device and browser used, screenshots if you have them, and a short description of what happened and what you expected instead. That helps us resolve issues much faster.
Do you guarantee a reply time?
No fixed response-time guarantee is offered. Response priority may depend on severity, legal urgency, abuse risk, and the information provided in the report.
